Willow trees cultivation in Kashmir

In Kashmir the plant is found growing at some places in Gilgat, Baltistan,Kishtwar,Ladakh, it is also found growing wild in cold desert Ladakh province in Jammu and Kashmir both in Leh and Kargil districts alongside rivers and in wastelands in Leh, Nubra, and Zanskar.Due to its wild form in Ladkah division  it is more organic, which is highly demanded in international markets than the sea buckthorn fruit from China .
 
A tea containing sea buckthorn leaves is used as a source of vitamins, antioxidants, protein building blocks (amino acids), fatty acids and minerals; for improving blood pressure and lowering cholesterol; preventing and controlling blood vessel diseases; and boosting immunity.
