Himalayan mayapple, podophyllum hexandrum fruit

Podophyllum  is an  herbaceous  perennial  plant in the family Berberidaceae,  described as a genus in 1979.  It includes only one known species, Podophyllum hexandrum, native to Afghanistan, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Kashmir,  Pakistan, and western China.
