Medicinal plants

Did you know? That many of the seeds we plant at our farm in Kashmir actually come from the plants that we grow here? By harvesting seeds from our own farm, we have a clear understanding of each plant’s history. This is an important part of our traceability procedures, but the work doesn’t stop there.
Every step of a plant’s lifecycle is carefully documented—from creating a birth certificate when we harvest seeds, to notating what organic fertilizer is applied to a plant, to tracking the entire harvesting process. Wondering why these traceability procedures are in place? It’s all to help ensure that your products and #herbal products are made from high quality ingredients!

Angelica spice

The long bright-green stems are also candied and used as food decoration. Angelica is unique among the Umbelliferae for its pervading aromatic odor, a pleasant perfume entirely different from fennel, parsley, anise, caraway, or chervil. It has been compared to musk and to juniper.
