Persimmon herbal tea

                                            Persimmon Tea
Family: Ebenaceae (Ebony Family)

Species are the common, or American, persimmon (Diospyros virginiana), native to North America, and the Japanese, or kaki, persimmon (D. kaki), native to China but widely cultivated in other temperate regions. The globular orange fruit of the common persimmon is about 4 cm (1.5 inches) in diameter.

The leaves of the persimmon fruit are also high in vitamin C, tannins and fiber, as well as a common ingredient in therapeutic teas ( 4 ). Persimmons are high in important vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C and B, potassium and manganese.
