Ginkgo House,Kashmir,Herbal Farming,Seeds,Plants.......

Coneflower seeds
Did you know? That many of the seeds we plant at our farm in Kashmir actually come from the plants that we grow here? By harvesting seeds from our own farm, we have a clear understanding of each plant’s history.

This is an important part of our traceability procedures, but the work doesn’t stop there. Every step of a plant’s lifecycle is carefully documented—from creating a birth certificate when we harvest seeds, to notating what organic fertilizer is applied to a plant, to tracking the entire harvesting process.

Wondering why these traceability procedures are in place? It’s all to help ensure that your products and #herbal products are made from high quality ingredients!

Phytolacca americana,seed,plant,berries,Kashmir

Pokeweed is a tall perennial shrub growing up to 12 ft. This shrub can be found in damp fields, along fences, and wooded areas of southeastern Canada, eastern United States, Kashmir, China,India & Pakistan. The stalks are reddish. There are small, greenish-white flowers and berries in opposite clusters. The berry is dark purple, almost black in color, and matures late summer to autumn. Pokeweed has been used in tea and as a herbal medicine. In folk medicine, pokeweed as a tincture has been used for arthritis and chronic rheumatism. Taken by mouth pokeweed was used as a purgative and as an emetic. The young leaves, if boiled and drained twice, are supposedly edible.

Its properties are such that it can also be called a selective vascular dilator. Due to this, it is known to increase the circulation of blood and guide the flow of blood to the back of the eyes. People suffering from diseases like Glaucoma and macular degeneration can thus get cured by the help of this herb.

A research conducted on a set of Glaucoma patients also revealed that gingko is associated with an improved and sharper vision.  Hence, imbibe the gingko biloba herb in your diet to ensure the well-being of your eyes.
